My hope is to inspire you to share in my passion and care for the children of the world and to join me on this journey of making a difference.

I have recently retired after 42 years of teaching preschool, doing parenting classes, and training student teachers. I now feel called by God to reach out more globally to children through my own books and stories and to share the love of Jesus with the blessings and prayers I have placed in my books.

While teaching I discovered the joy of sharing books with children as it opened doors to some wonderful conversations. I found that I was able to see the world through the eyes of children. I loved my time reading with children and enjoyed the stories and adventures just about as much as they did! Today reading aloud to children is still a fun and favorite activity I relish. It doesn’t take much to talk me into coming to read to your group of little ones. 

Retirement has been wonderful giving me focused time to write and finally see my book published. I have also had the luxury to do more of the things I enjoy such as hiking, camping, and traveling. Sometimes being out in God’s big beautiful world I am inspired not only by how magnificent He is but I find inspiration for my future stories. I hope to expand my horizons in my travel a bit more beyond the States and visit some of the orphanages and ministries I support in other countries.
